Chiswick Coffee Break ep 15 with Zoe Angle
Welcome to the Chiswick Coffee Break ep 15. My guest is Zoe Angle. Zoe Angle is a versatile stained glass artist specialising in traditional glass painting, a technique she uses in work she’s designed herself, as well as when she’s restoring old glass.
After founding Angle Glass in 2009, she has built up her company, working with homeowners, architects, interior designers and churches, as well as window and door companies. Zoe also collaborates with other stained glass artists, such as Emma Blunt when creating a memorial window honouring Winston Churchill for St Martin’s Church, Bladon, Oxfordshire. She worked with Benjamin Finn and Tim Conliffe on a St Francis window for The Church of St John the Baptist, Epping, which won a ‘highly commended’ design award.
Over the last 30 years Zoe has helped restore the glass from the Baltic Exchange dome (now displayed at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich), produced glass for the Bait al-Baraka Royal Palace in Oman, and for the Sikh temple in Southall. She’s exhibited work in the centenary exhibition of the British Society of Master Glass Painters.
Go grab a coffee and enjoy our conversation.
